General Electric Serial Modbus Communication Interface Pack IS220PSCAH1A is an I/O pack that has six configurable serial channels which support several ports. The ports that are used with the IS220PSCAH1A pack are the RS422, RS485 half-duplex, and RS232 ports.
The IS220PSCAH1A I/O Pack is compatible with up to two possible Ethernet networks and a serial communication terminal board for electrical interfaces. This pack supports three distinct port channels, which are the RS485 half-duplex, RS232, and RS422 standards.
IS220PDOAH1A is compatible with six discrete output terminal boards, including both SRLY and TRLY types. It features three connectors: one DC connector and two RJ45 Ethernet connectors.The memory types supported are flash and RAM. There are two Ethernet ports available. The device also has four LED indicators: Power, Attention, TxRx (transmit/receive), and Link. For power management, it accepts a 28-volt input. The quantity of relay channels it can handle is twelve.
Three triple modular redundant (TMR) PPRA I/O packs installed to a TREA terminal board with the WREA option board included make up a protective system.
