Description:

The GE Speedtronic Mark VIe IS220PCNOH1B is a CANopen Interface module designed for I/O PACK, falling under the Mark VIe Series. This interface enables PCs to function as CANopen masters, facilitating connection and communication with CANopen networks from various manufacturers. CANopen operates as a high-level communication protocol that builds upon the physical layer of the Controller Area Network (CAN). In support of the ongoing enhancements to the Mark VIe controls platform, many I/O packs have transitioned their processor board from a BPPB to a BPPC.

To effectively utilize these new BPPC-based I/O packs, two prerequisites must be satisfied: The processor board in several I/O packs has been updated as part of the continuous improvement efforts for the Mark VIe controls platform.

For the Mark VIe system, you will need ControlST software version V04.04.xx or later.
Additionally, to upgrade the firmware of the I/O pack(s), it is mandatory to use the BPPC I/O Upgrade tool, version V05.01.05.
