IS220PSVOH1A GE MKVIe, Servo Control Pack (2 out, 8 LVDT, 2PR)

Description:

The IS220PSVOH1A is a servo control pack from the Mark VIe series. It was developed by GE for use in their Mark VI or Mark VIe systems, which are designed to control steam and gas turbine systems.

This electrical interface connects a TSVO servo terminal board to one or two I/O Ethernet networks. The IS220PSVOH1A utilizes the WSVO servo driver module to manage two servo valve position loops.

The PSVO comes with a front faceplate featuring various LED indicators. These include four LEDs that display the status of the two Ethernet networks (ENet1/Enet2), as well as a Power and Attn LED and two ENA1/2 LEDs. There is also an infrared port on the front, but it is not utilized in this particular pack.

After installation, the Control System Toolbox application is employed to set up the IS220PSVOH1A. The kit includes a CPU board equipped with input power connectors, a local power supply, and an internal temperature sensor. Additionally, the board boasts flash memory and RAM. This board is linked to a purchase board.

When it comes time to replace the IS220PSVOH1A, it can be automatically reconfigured. This feature can be activated or disabled within the ToolboxST application's Component Editor. Alternatively, operators can manually reconfigure the module using the Component Editor.

If a terminal board is swapped out, the I/O pack must be manually reconfigured. Servo performance can be tested through methods such as stroking the actuator in manual mode, position ramping, or applying step current. Any irregularities in the actuator stroke will be evident on the trend recorder.
