Description:

The IS200FGPAG1A is a Gate Pulse Amplifier Card produced by GE Energy for use in the LS2100 Static Starter Control System. Its primary purpose is to monitor the status of silicon-controlled rectifiers (SCRs) and manage the power supply within the LCI. The board converts AC input into the necessary DC voltages required for gating and status functions. For example, it can generate a 25 VDC for the gate "back porch" voltage.

The IS200FGPAG1A collects various voltage information from connected FHVA boards. It has the capability to detect undervoltage conditions within the gate power supply. If an undervoltage issue is identified and cannot be resolved, it may be necessary to replace the FCGD, FGPA, and fiber-optic cables.
