Description:

DS200TCQCG1B is a specialized Analog IO Expansion Board, engineered and produced by General Electric as part of the Mark V LM Series for use in the GE Speedtronic Control System. This board processes additional analog signals from the I/O core terminal boards, scaling and conditioning them appropriately (TCQC). It also provides excitation for LVDT and LVDR through the TCQC board. The TCQC board houses the IONET termination within its core, which is present if the optional 21> is installed. Before transmitting it via the 19PL connector to the STCA board, the TCQC board scales and conditions the mA input for the megawatt transducer signal. It also scales and conditions pulse rate inputs. In most cases, high-pressure shaft speed signals and occasionally liquid fuel flow signals are scaled on the TCQC board and sent to the TCQA board using the JE connector in the "R1" core. Through this JE connector, the STCA board and TCQC board exchange generator and line signals.

Regarding TCQC Configuration:
The hardware setup involves setting the servo output current range using the first 16 hardware jumpers on the TCQC board. Odd-numbered jumpers determine the source output resistance, while even-numbered jumpers set the feedback scaling. For servos one through four, additional feedback scaling options are available through hardware jumpers 25 through 36, allowing for a maximum current range of +/- 240 mA. For card testing, BJ17 configures the RS232 port, BJ21 enables the stall timer, and BJ22 activates the oscillator for factory testing. BJ23 and BJ24 have no function. Proximity transducers' P15 and N15 supplies are limited by BJ18 and BJ20. In certain applications, JP38 and JP39 hardware jumpers control the magnetic pickup gain for signals indicating liquid fuel flow.
About TCQC Servo Valve Regulator Output Circuits:
The TCQC board employs jumpers to adjust the current from the TCQA board before directing it to position the servo valves. Hardware jumpers on the TCQC board are used to set reference feedback and output current range. The servo clamp relay and suicide relays are located on the TCQC board. By passing through the servo valves, activating the suicide relays grounds the signal. As a result, the servo valve can drift to the bias position. When the servo clamp relays are activated, the servo valve receives a positive current. The CSP sends a signal that is written to the TCQA board and then transmitted to the TCQC board, triggering the suicide relays.
