Description:

The DS200FGPAG1A is a Gate Pulse Amplifier Card designed to supply gate power for one phase of an SCR bridge, monitor SCR status, and convert AC power to DC.
It features three main functions: switching the power supply to convert AC voltages into necessary DC voltages for gating and status operations, monitoring SCR status by accumulating cell voltage information from attached FHVAs and relaying it via an optical serial data link to the LCI controller, and providing gate power through its gate driver function.
The board includes thirty test points between Gate A, Gate B, and Cell Status Monitoring, with Gate A containing nine test points such as TP101 (Logic 1= command to start push cycle), TP105 (primary voltage), and TP110 (Logic 0=release gate inhibits). The acceptable power input for the Gate Pulse Amplifier Board ranges from 120 Vrms ±20%, 50/60 Hz up to approximately 350 VA maximum, with specific points like P15 accepting 13.5-14.5 VDC unmonitored, P5 accepting 4.7-5.1 VDC, P90 requiring ≥81 VDC, and P40 needing ≥25 VDC.
