Description:

The IS200ERDDH1A is an IGBT Excitation Regulator Interface and Dynamic Discharge Board (ERDD) designed for use with the EX2100 regulator control in both simplex and redundancy applications. In simplex configurations, a single ERDD is installed in the IS200ERBP excitation regulator backplane (ERBP), interfacing with the IS200ERIOH A excitation regulator I/O board (ERIO) and the excitation regulator static converter board (ERSC). For redundancy, one ERDD is mounted on the ERBP (M1), and another on the excitation regulator redundancy backplane (ERRB, M2/C), connecting to the ERIO, ERSC, and the excitation regulator redundancy relay board (ERRR).

The primary functions of the ERDD include:
- Controlling field excitation gate drives
- Managing dynamic discharge to handle excessive DC link voltage
- Monitoring various parameters such as DC link voltage, output shunt current, output field voltage, bridge temperature, and IGBT gate drive status through bridge feedback (both power and desaturation states)
