Description:

The module is designed for stored-program analog control of one or two process variables, featuring two continuous outputs for the correcting variables. It can control various types of actuators, including electrohydraulic, electropneumatic, and electric-motor-powered drives. These drives can be positioned locally at the transducer or in a continuously operating power electronics system, depending on the type of actuator. Additionally, the module can be integrated with a higher-level master control system to enhance single variable analog controls.

This module is intended for use in conjunction with the process operator station. It includes function blocks for implementing continuous single variable controllers, with additional function blocks available for signal conditioning. In analog control mode, the module operates with fixed cycle times: 100 ms for one actuator and 200 ms for two actuators. The cycle time is specified using the function block KON, which is the first block in the structure. Furthermore, the module features two hardware process interfaces for the power controller units and the process itself.
